Your aims in the role
CLIENT LEADERSHIP & GROWTH
- Act as a senior point of contact for Account Directors and their clients, ensuring smooth performance across portfolios.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, addressing challenges proactively and championing client satisfaction and consistency across the agency.
- Bring experience in planning budgets, forecasting, and identifying growth opportunities within agency or client environments.
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and spotting new and fresh ways to deliver value maximising both client impact and agency revenue.
- Lead commercial conversations with clients that focus on growth – spotting opportunities, demonstrating value, and shaping partnerships that expand year on year.
- Engage confidently with C-suite stakeholders, offering strategic insight and industry-relevant perspectives, showcasing yours (and the agency’s) expertise.
- Line manage and mentor Account Directors, guiding them to be effective team leaders and client partners.
- Foster a creative yet high-performance team culture, setting clear expectations while inspiring high excellence.
- Support career development across the PR team, providing coaching and creating opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate closely with PR, Search/Strategy, and Creative teams to ensure we deliver impactful and innovative work for our clients.
- Drive accountability and ownership at every stage of the client journey, from onboarding through to long-term partnerships.
- Work closely with the Board to evolve and innovate our PR offering, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends.
- Work with clients to truly understand their industries, competitors, and audiences, shaping strategies that deliver genuine impact and always answer the ‘so what?’
- Ensure PR activity aligns with wider digital and SEO strategies, supporting organic visibility growth and delivering measurable impact against clients’ business objectives.
- Take an active role in new business development – leading brainstorms, shaping creative ideas, and creating engaging pitch decks.
- Seek out and bring in new opportunities to help grow the agency’s client base where possible.
