SENIOR DIGITAL PR MANAGER

Being a Senior Digital PR Manager

Bottled Imagination has been on the PR scene for almost three years, launching stand out campaigns that get our clients (and the press) excited. We are in an exciting stage of growth and we’re looking for senior PRs to join us on this journey, helping us to lead a team of outstanding PRs.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate for this role would be:

Imaginative: We are building an agency that approaches ideation differently and creating a team that is passionate about creating campaigns people wish they’d thought of first.

Proactive: We’re moving quickly, whilst you’ll be supported by the team we’re looking for people who are in control of their own clients, campaigns and workload.

Experienced: We are looking for someone with at least 5-6 years PR experience, whether that’s in Digital PR or more on the traditional side, we’re looking for someone who knows their shit.

Commercially aware: You’ll be comfortable managing client budgets, spotting opportunities for upsells where appropriate.

Comfortable managing people: We’d like you to be in charge of your team’s development, spotting people’s strengths and ensuring their progression is in line with this, whilst also being able to give constructive feedback.

Confident talking to senior stakeholders: You’ll be able to chat to clients of all levels, but will be able to comfortably discuss account performance with C-level clients.

What you will be doing

  • Be the lead contact on a group of clients, and the senior escalation point of a couple of others working alongside a PR manager.
  • Lead ideation for your clients, ensuring ideas are on brand but are ‘Bottled Imagination’ style ideas, with creativity at the forefront and thinking about what hasn’t been done before.
  • Pitch idea concepts to clients to get buy in and sign off, getting them excited about working with us
  • Be the internal sign off point for all PR materials on your accounts including press releases, onsite copy and seeding lists
  • Set bespoke outreach strategies for campaigns ensuring KPIs are met
  • Manage, mentor and train a team of PR execs
  • Working with project management tools such as Float to ensure teams and staff are allocated while being aware of metrics such as profitability
  • Get involved in new business pitches

You clicked straight to here, didn't you?

  • A salary of up to £35k-42K depending on experience
  • A generous holiday entitlement
  • A chance to help grow an exciting start-up
  • All the training you will need in an ever-changing industry
  • A company that puts people at the heart
  • All the equipment and resources you need to do good work

WHAT’S IT LIKE TO WORK AT BOTTLED IMAGINATION?

How do you feel about flexible working?

Everyone works best in different ways – and we want to bring the best out of our team whenever we can. So, while we love working collaboratively and have arranged working days from our Manchester base, we offer flexibility when it comes to remote working. Just let us know what you need, and we’ll make it happen.

What are your company benefits?

We’re still new, so we’re always discovering new benefits that are important to our team. Our employees are at the heart of everything we do, so wellbeing is massive to us, driving our decisions when it comes to benefits. As it stands, we offer a generous pension scheme and half days on Fridays – but we are always open to hearing about what’s important to you.

Can I get training and personal development plans?

Short answer: yes. We tailor training around you, helping you learn about what you want to learn about, and developing into the positions you want to develop into. If it’s important to you, we’ll give you the training.

Will I get the equipment I need?

Yes, we’ll give you everything you need to get the job done. All you need to bring is your imagination. And maybe some baked goods every once in a while. That’d be nice.

What’s your culture like?

We’re working hard to create a culture where everyone thrives. This means no hierarchy, an employee-first mindset and at least three knock-knock jokes cracked a day. Don’t like jokes? Want more after-work pub trips? Fancy a weekly book/games/beer/music club? Let us know – we want our employees to help us build the culture they’re after.
